Spread across my blog, the subject of this post is the second song from the 1953 film Anarkali in my collection.
The song in question was Zindagi Pyaar Ki Do Chaar Ghadi
Hoti Hai.
It was written by Rajinder Krishan, and could be translated to,
“Life merely constitutes a few moments of love”.
If the song were penned by another lyricist, he would probably
have switched the positions of zindagi and pyaar in
the opening line of that track.
The song, which was rendered by none other than Hemant Kumar,
was composed by C Ramchandra.
