Naalayak could be translated to, “Unworthy”.
It was also the
title of a film that released in 1978.
Its title track – Duniya
Ne Mujhko Hai Samjha Nakara – was another of those songs that was a staple on
the television show featuring retro Hindi film songs in the 1990s.
Mohammed Rafi, the
man who lent his voice to the song could never be called Naalayak or Nakara.
In fact, it was
his only contribution to the soundtrack of the film.
Verma Malik wrote
the song, which was composed by Kalyanji Virji Shah and Anandji Virji Shah.
